Congratulations to all of our Long and Foster Blue Bell agents!
2025 had some challenges but we percerviered as always!
A special shout out to Jack Malloy on his decades of Service Citation presented by the City of Philadelphia and to Karen Adams on receiving our Service Award for 6 years of Volunteering a clothing Drive for the Wardrobe in Philadelphia!
The Wardrobe..
For people experiencing barriers to employment and independence, clothing insecurity is real.
It can mean not having anything to wear or not having the right thing to wear. Both are barriers to advancement.
The Wardrobe offers well maintained clothing for casual to workwear. The clothing is available for sale and is also offered free to anyone referred.
They offer workshops and 1 on 1 coaching for interviews, resumes, careers, etc.
Many events are held throughout the year at all 4 of their locations including their Prom Drive which our Blue Bell office collects and donates for.
Students are invited into the shop prior to prom to select the perfect attire including shoes and accessories.
For 2026 we collected approximately 135 pieces, including dresses, suits, shirts, ties, shoes, handbags and jewelry. This is the most in the 6th years of working with The Wardrobe!
It’s gratifying to help a student who may not have otherwise been able to attend their prom and make lasting high school memories.
