This is a cautious warning. Years ago, we changed the rubber hose attachments to wire wrapped hose for the washing machine. Fortunately, we were home when we heard a gush of water. That wire wrapped hose sprang a leak. Water was all over the floor. Check those wire wrapped hose for any kinks in the line. If you still have rubber hose attached to the washing machine, check it with regularity.
