30 years ago today, I became a Realtor – on Valentine’s Day. ❤️🏡
Today, Philly is celebrating love❤️ , football 🦅, and an Eagles victory 🏈, and I’m celebrating 30 years in a career that shaped my life in ways I never imagined.
When I immigrated to the U.S. in 1988, I didn't even yet have a high school diploma, no plan, and no clear path forward. College wasn’t an option, sales wasn’t my strength, and waitressing wasn’t enough to get by. Then, I bought my first home and met Tom McGlaughlin – a Realtor who didn’t just help me find a house, but also helped me find my calling.
What started as a leap of faith turned into 30 years of helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. I’ve sold, listed, rented, and negotiated hundreds of deals, but more importantly, I’ve built lifelong relationships. Just recently, someone I worked with nearly 30 years ago, sent me a referral. They remembered how I treated them. That’s what this business is about. It’s not just about sales - it’s about people remembering how you made them feel.
To my clients, colleagues, and everyone who’s been part of this journey – thank you for your trust, support, and friendships.
And as Philly celebrates a well-earned Eagles Superbowl victory, I’m reminded that perseverance, passion, and heart always lead to success. Here’s to many more years of doing what I love!
