August’s Montgomery County market snapshot is here! 🏡

As we head into fall, the Montgomery County market is showing some interesting shifts compared to this time last year.

A few August highlights:
📈 Median sale price reached $508,750, up 7.1%
🏡 901 homes sold, down 5%
📋 New listings were down 4.1%
👀 More than 14,000 showings took place throughout the month
⏱️ Homes spent a median of just 8 days on the market

The takeaway? Home prices continue to rise, while buyer activity and sales have softened somewhat compared to last August. And with homes still moving in just over a week, pricing and preparation remain especially important for sellers.
