Debra grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. “ I know that my life today was influenced by my environment. I enjoyed touring neighborhoods on my b
ike, admiring the fine residences. The lakes and beauty of nature, as well as my passion for architecture was inspired by my surroundings, this lead to my life calling as a Real Estate Professional. I even had the good fortune to live across the street from a Frank Lloyd Wright estate.” After moving to Los Angeles she attended UCLA to pursue her passion in Architecture, Design and Art History, one of her favorite tours was of the “Gamble House” by Green & Green in Pasadena. Debra’s dream of building her own home was realized when she married her husband of 26 years. “Bob wanted me to build what I desired, on this we were in complete agreement.” They built a Mediterranean Style Home in Santa Rosa Valley. In 1988 Debra became a Licensed Real Estate Agent. Her first sale was the home she and Bob had built. When the property sold it was recorded as the highest sale in the history of the area at that time. The Buyer, an executive of Disney, still lives in the property today 25 years later. “I put myself fully into every aspect of building of the home, what was very satisfying to me was the Buyers saw my vision and loved it as much as I did.” The Parkinson’s relocated to Lake Arrowhead, California 24 years ago. In 1995 Debra became a Licensed Real Estate Broker, opening their own Real Estate office. Over the years they have owned two Real Estate Franchises and became Affiliated with Christie’s Great Estates in 2005. In her years of working in the Real Estate profession, she has worked with high profile clients from the Entertainment, Sports, Aerospace, Corporations, and Government Officials. “For example I’ve worked for very high wealth clients and clients with far less, the gamut of personalities and socio economic status.” When you work with her you’ll find that she not only gets the job done, she also treats you like family.
