Everyone fights over the number at the top of the contract. The buyers closing the best deals this fall are focused on something else.

Seller-paid rate buydowns. Closing cost credits. HOA fees covered. A home warranty included. These concessions are on the table right now, but only if you know to ask.

A $10,000 price reduction and a $10,000 closing cost credit aren't the same thing. The credit often wins.
