⛰️ A little August reality check for the Fannin County market.
After a very strong summer, the market naturally took a breath in August. May, June and July brought a whole lot of momentum, so seeing things settle a bit as we move out of peak summer isn’t a red flag. It’s a reset.
The bigger picture is still encouraging. Sales are holding strong year-to-date, prices have leveled out after July’s big jump, and inventory is growing at a measured pace.
And if you know the mountains, you know what comes next. 🍂
Fall has a way of bringing people back to North Georgia. The cooler temperatures, changing leaves, mountain weekends and that undeniable feeling that maybe this is the year to finally make the move.
For buyers, there is opportunity in this market. For sellers, thoughtful pricing and positioning matter more than ever.
The market may be cooling from summer, but I wouldn’t mistake that for standing still.
Fall in the mountains is just getting started. 🍁
If you’re wondering what these numbers mean for your property, your next purchase, or your plans for the mountains, I’m always happy to talk through it with you.
