The biggest mistake I see people make when moving around Kansas City?

They focus so much on the house… they forget to think about the lifestyle they actually want.

Because living in Independence feels completely different than living in Harrisonville.�Blue Springs feels different than Overland Park.�And even two towns 20 minutes apart can completely change your day-to-day rhythm.

When we moved from Independence to Harrisonville, we realized how much we valued slower evenings, less traffic, quieter neighborhoods, and honestly… fewer places to spend money!!!

Some people want walkability and nonstop things to do.�Others want space, good schools, a little land, or neighbors who wave from the driveway.

There’s not one “best” city around KC.�It’s about finding the one that fits the life you actually want to live.

BIG exciting news over here!!!!

I officially joined REAL Broker and I truly could not be more excited for this next chapter.

Over the last few years, I’ve absolutely loved building a business centered around relationships, strategy, and helping people navigate some really BIG life moments — whether that’s buying your first home, selling a home full of memories, or making a move that just feels right for your family.

If you know me personally, you know I’m always a little “on the go”... balancing motherhood, ministry with Young Life, real estate, trying new coffee, school PTO, community, and all the things. One of the things I love most about this move is that it allows me the flexibility to continue pouring into the ministry work I’m passionate about while also continuing to serve my amazing real estate clients at a really high level.

This move means even better support, systems, marketing, and tools behind the scenes — all helping me continue to show up well for the people who trust me with such important moments in their lives.

Or maybe the right buyer just hasn’t seen it yet.

In our market, homes aren’t meant to sell overnight.
The average days on market in Jackson County is around 33 days — and that’s normal.

Just because a house didn’t get scooped up the first weekend doesn’t mean something is wrong.
Sometimes it’s simply waiting for the buyer it’s meant for.
