Today two incredible buyers officially became homeowners, and I truly couldn't be happier for them. I can't wait to watch these houses become homes filled with new memories, laughter, and the life they've been dreaming about.

My recent HOT TAKES as a girl who's bought a home, sold a home, cried over a home, and helped a lot of people buy homes. 🤍

✨ Don't buy a house if you're not willing to learn a few basic home maintenance skills—or have someone on speed dial who can.

Owning a home is SO wonderful. It is also:
• changing air filters
• unclogging drains
• replacing your HVAC system in the Missouri heat of summer

And that's okay. It's part of the adventure.

✨ And maybe my biggest hot take...

Don't hire a Realtor who has never personally bought or sold a home.

I say that with all the love in the world.

Getting licensed teaches you contracts. Actually buying and selling teaches you emotions.

The waiting.
The inspections.
The negotiations.
The excitement.
The "are we making the right decision?" conversations at 10 p.m.
