✈️ What a trip! So many reasons DC was amazing. 15 members from our Lowcountry attended RLM this week along with 200 total from South Carolina.

🇺🇸The reason 8,000 REALTORS travel to Washington DC every year is to advocate on Capital Hill for personal property rights, housing and other issues that may be negatively affecting Americans when it pertains to homeownership.

📄During our time we were able to meet with South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and thank him for his support and spearheading the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. A bipartisan bill that focuses on the root causes of housing affordability in America. The Bill is expecting to be signed in the coming days.

❓Too many times we hear from Agents “But am I required to join?” Or members don’t understand what exactly RPAC is and what their investment dollars support. Or even the difference between a licensed Agent and a REALTOR (insert Modern Family skit 😂) But this conference, this Bill, these connections, and this legislative driving force in real estate is the why.
