he last few years, we’ve primarily focused on Hilton Head, Bluffton and the greater Beaufort areas of South Carolina. We are expanding to provide services to our customers in the Savannah, GA region, recently adding an office in Rincon, northwest of Savannah. We started in 1983 when Terry Hatchell, a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), founded Surveying Consultants, Inc. Most of our employees have been serving customers for over ten years. Thanks to Terry’s steady ownership, dedication to quality service, continuity of personnel and retention of satisfied customers, we’ve seen exponential growth. And for that, we take great pride. Our focused business plan and small size allows us to maintain the highest quality standards and stay on the cutting edge of surveying technology. We use the latest equipment, including Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS Receivers and Robotic Stations. And, our full staff of CAD technicians has a variety of print and digital capabilities. We know that surveying still requires tasks like detailed footwork of uncovering boundary monuments, determining building and property heights, understanding the topography of the land among many other items.
