A lot of buyers assume nearby neighborhoods automatically share the same taxes, schools, utilities, permitting process, and local oversight. Around here, that’s not always the case.

Especially once Okatie enters the chat.

It’s one of those details that usually doesn’t show up until someone’s deep into comparing homes — which is why local context matters so much during a search.
