If you have been trying to buy a home you are aware of the booming Real Estate market. It is not for the faint of heart! If you want to jump in, you need to know a couple of things. First of all, there is still a shortage of homes for sale. Secondly, you will need either a preapproval letter or a proof of funds statement from your bank. Third, many of the homes for sale are selling above asking price so you need to understand escalation clauses, appraisals and inspection issues. I can help you understand all of these items and help guide you on your journey to home ownership. My 25 years of Real Estate experience gives me a great back round to help you understand the market and how to find your dream home!

The current Real Estate market is something we have not seen before. There is a shortage of homes and extremely low interest rates. These two factors add up to a fever pitch of excitement when a new listing shows up on the market. If you are looking for a home, you definitely need to make your first stop at your bank for either a preapproval letter or a proof of funds statement. Offers without this important piece of paper will most likely be rejected. Homes are going under contract within a day or two of listing so there is no time to waste getting your paperwork in order.
