This is our latest acquisition. This is a sale that took 12 months to complete. I originally dealt with two relatives, one that lives out of the country and the other that lives an hour away. Sadly, their sister/cousin passed away and this was her home. I met the cousin at the home in January of 2025. It was their intent to sell the home and they wanted me to list it. When I saw the condition of it, I knew it was going to be a tough sell and they wouldn't get much for it unless they were willing to spend some money first. There were several issues. It was a hoarder's house and there was "stuff" everywhere. Parts of the home were hard to navigate because you literally had small paths to walk. There was also a friend of the deceased living there. She was a smoker and had multiple cats. The home reeked of cigarette smoke and cat urine. Not a good combination! Though the cats were sweet and friendly, their litterboxes were full and overflowing. The carpet smelled of cat urine and many parts of the carpet had cat f***s on it.

The saga of the hoarder's house continues. The dumpster is coming Monday so another "treasure" hunt was in order. One never knows where someone may hide money or other valuables. We felt a final rummage through the dresser drawers was a worthwhile endeavor. I searched through drawer after drawer of clothing, only to find nothing. Until...I felt something in a plastic bag. It was rolled up in the bag so I couldn't tell what it was. I unrolled the bag, turned it upside down and dumped the contents. Low and behold, there lie a rather large d***o, a vi****or and extra batteries! NOT the valuables we were hoping to find!

Good Neighbor Properties is happy to donate a gift basket for the Chris Ignazio Bocce tournament at Cricket's Bar. On Wednesday, July 16th, Chris took a terrible fall from a ladder and sustained multiple injuries. He suffered from a collapsed lung, punctured spleen, numerous fractures on his vertebrae and several broken ribs.
