At Beachfront, we believe words are meaningless without action. We have chosen to give financial support to OneFamily Fund
FOUNDED IN 2001, OneFamily's integrated network of volunteers, field and social workers, staff, and therapists, has helped thousands of Israeli terror victims along their arduous journeys from a life filled with extreme loss and pain, to one filled with greater hope for the future.
In a given year, OneFamily provides these to describe a few:
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
* 3,200 families receive direct financial aid
* 529 families receive food vouchers for Passover
* 91 wounded IDF soldiers receive vouchers of $190
* 12 university scholarships awarded
HEALING RETREATS, SUPPORT GROUPS, AND WORKSHOPS:
* 535 war widows, terror victims, and orphans participate in various healing retreats across Israel
* 329 people participate in therapeutic retreats and support groups
* 150 bereaved and wounded singles, ages 22-32, travel overseas for healing retreats
* 2,550 families receive Purim packages
YOUTH DIVISION (for children ages 8-18 who have lost parents or siblings, or who are themselves, survivors):
* 769 children attend our Hanukkah, Passover, and Summer camps
* 285 children in southern Israel receive new school backpacks and gift cards to purchase school supplies
