Closing #2 for the Day! When a long time family friend and neighbor called me about possibly selling her morher’s old home, which had been rented to a tenant for almost a year, she wasn’t sure about the process or what to expect! We met for a coffee, I sat down and went through everything with her, and we had the home listed 4 days later. 3 days after that we were under contract for $10,000 above list price! To give the tenant a little more time to find a new place, we did an extended 45 days closing and handed the keys over to the buyers today! It was a pleasure working with the buyers agent David Jauregui of Coldwell Banker and on closing!

And we are officially CLOSED on this beautiful 2/2 in Homestead. I started working with my client to find here a place in May. After looking at 10+ properties and submitting 4 offers, we finally went under contract on this place, but that was just the beginning! First appraisal came back lower than we expected, then financing fell through 2 weeks before closing day! But with Chris Makiri and saving the day with financing and some great teamwork from the sellers agent , we were able to get the job done.
