I said I wouldn’t do this again…

After losing Gilbert, my heart just wasn’t there. I was sure—no more dogs.

But life had other plans 🤍

It didn’t take much convincing… and now, here we are—completely in love with Olivia.

She has already filled our home with so much joy,
and watching Kika become the most loving big sister has been everything 🐾

Funny how the heart makes space again… even when you think it can’t.

Welcome to the family, Olivia 🤍

So happy to celebrate Julian & Valeria and be part of such a special day. It was truly all about love, happiness, and being together.

Valeria, we’re so excited to welcome you into the family—you fit right in 🥂

Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness

40 years later… and my heart is so full.

Marymount Seniors ‘86
We came back to where it all began—
and for a few days, time stood still.

We walked those same halls,
celebrated Mass together,
and held each other a little tighter.

We laughed…
we remembered…
we hugged like no time had passed.

Because these friendships were never lost—
they were just waiting for this moment.

And somehow, they feel even stronger now.

Forever grateful. Forever Marymount. ✨

Thinly sliced raw beef, dressed simply so quality speaks for itself — olive oil, lemon, Parmigiano… and when you really want to elevate it? Truffles. ✨
Delicate, bold, timeless — this is one of those dishes that proves less truly is more.
I love mine with truffles.
How do you like your carpaccio?
Classic? Truffled? Or with a little arugula crunch? 👇

On New Year’s Eve, with a heavy heart, we said goodbye to our sweet Gilbert as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 💔
Only two months after losing Tony, the silence feels heavier—but love, as always, is louder.
Gilbert came into our lives unexpectedly and changed us forever. He made us fall in love with the Dachshund breed—the big personality in a little body. Completely obsessed with his ball and fetching, barking at anything that dared pass in front of our house, endlessly food-driven, and gifted with the most expressive eyes we’ve ever known. He had a way of looking at you that said everything.
Now he’s reunited with Max, Lola, and Tony ❤️—running free, ball in mouth, whole again.
Losing a pet is losing a piece of your heart, but loving them is a gift that never leaves. The grief comes in waves, but so do the memories—and those we will hold onto forever.
Gilbert, you were truly one of a kind. We loved you so much, and we always will. 🌈🐾
If you’ve loved and lost a pet, know you’re not alone—your love mattered, and it still does. Please share their name below so we can honor them together. 🤍
“Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault, really—but their love lasts a lifetime.” 🐾✨

As this year comes to an end, my heart is full.
I traveled, discovered new places and flavors, learned new things, and kept growing — even when it was hard. I cooked for the people I love, shared long meals, deep conversations, laughter, and quiet moments that mean everything.

This year taught me patience, resilience, and gratitude. I learned that growth doesn’t always feel comfortable, and that some of the most important lessons come during the hardest times. I am thankful for every challenge, every pause, and every reminder to slow down and stay present.

To those I lost — I love you, and I will always love you. You are with me in my heart, in my memories, and in everything I create.
To my friends — THANK YOU for your love, support, and presence.
To my family — you are my everything, my base, my why.

Here’s to closing this chapter with gratitude and opening the next one with hope, love, and excitement.
Cheers to a beautiful 2026 🥂✨

Always THANKFUL

Today, my heart feels full. This Thanksgiving, I’m reflecting on everything I am grateful for… always starting with my husband and children. We are truly blessed — with love, happiness, and health. ❤️

I recently traveled to Colombia to visit my mom and siblings, and it reminded me how powerful family is. Seeing all the generations together — from the newest addition to our oldest treasure, my mother — filled me with so much joy.

Family is my base.
My structure.
My why. 🤍

Wishing you and your loved ones a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, connection, and moments that matter.

Always THANKFUL. 🌿

When tradition tastes like home
After so many years, I finally brought back one of my most treasured recipes — the Traditional Black Christmas Cake.
The kind of recipe that fills your kitchen with memories before it even bakes…
This cake is pure nostalgia.
It reminds me of holidays back home and the sweetness of traditions that never leave us — no matter where life takes us.
And here’s where it begins: dried fruit steeping for at least three weeks in a blend of rich, aromatic liquors. The flavors deepen. The memories bloom. The holidays feel a little closer.
Some recipes aren’t just made…
They’re carried, protected, and cherished.
Tell me — do you have a holiday recipe that connects you to home? Share it below. Let’s celebrate the flavors that tell our stories.
