What began as a conversation in a Fort Lauderdale pub in 2006 - as a yacht-focused flag-state survey practice - has grown into a leading IMO Recognized Organization. Today, IYB provides flag-state inspection, statutory certification, emergency response, and expert guidance to yachts operating from more than 40 locations worldwide.

Over the past two decades, IYB has remained intentionally hands-on, built around professionals who have actually done the work: unlimited master mariners, chief engineers, naval architects, and regulatory specialists with real operational experience. As regulations evolved, fleets expanded, and expectations around safety, compliance, and accountability increased, so too did IYBโ€™s depth, reach, and responsibility.

We are sincerely grateful to the flag administrations, owners, managers, captains, crew, attorneys, documentation agents, and industry colleagues who have placed their trust in IYB over the last 20 years. Your confidence has allowed us to grow, adapt, and continue doing the work the right way.

Your safety. Our priority. For 20 yearsโ€ฆand counting.

Built in Italy. Registered in Tokyo. Sailing for Florida. SHEโ€™S A 10 TOO joins the fleet.

In an orchestrated scramble across 13 time zones, the new construction SHEโ€™S A 10 TOO registered last week at the port of Nassau. Due to a last minute schedule change and impending heavy weather, the registration process had to relocate from Stacy Davis in the Nassau office to Juanita Butler in the Tokyo office. It was flawless. The 54 m / 177โ€™ aluminum hull accommodates up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms with 9 crew. Boasting a luxurious, spacious interior while maintaining that ideal 499 GT designation, there is a private ownerโ€™s balcony, pool, gym, al fresco dining, and a beach club. She is powered by four diesel engines manufactured by mtu solutions for a massive power output of 7756 kW / 10400 hp. The yacht will be certified for charter by IYB on behalf of the flag of The Bahamas ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ธ .
