If you’re a real estate agent who feels like you’re working harder than ever but not getting the results you should be getting, I want to invite you to something.

I’m seeing good agents struggle right now—not because they aren’t talented, but because many were never taught how to build a strong foundation for their business.

Lead generation. Time management. Working effectively with buyers and sellers. Systems. Consistency. The basic disciplines that create a business you can actually count on.

On Tuesday, September 29th from 10:00–3:00, our Productivity Coach, Matt Raciti, is teaching Rookie Real Estate Agent, and I’m opening the invitation to agents outside of our office as well.

And despite the name, this isn’t only for brand-new agents. If you’ve been in the business for a few years and feel like you’ve gotten off track, need to rebuild your pipeline, or simply never had someone teach you the fundamentals of building a real estate business, this class is for you.

There’s no recruiting pitch attached to this invitation. I simply believe our industry is better when we help each other succeed—and right now, I know there are agents who could use the support.

Come spend the day with us. Learn. Reset. Get back to the basics. And leave with a stronger foundation for your business.

Lunch is on us. ❤️

Message me personally if you’d like to attend. I’d love to have you as my guest.

People don’t choose a real estate agent because of a logo. They choose someone they trust.

In real estate, your brokerage matters—but your reputation matters more.

The strongest careers aren’t built on a company name alone. They’re built on the things clients remember:

🏡 How professionally you showed up.
🤝 How well you listened.
💡 The expertise you brought to the table.
❤️ The integrity you demonstrated.
📈 The results you delivered.
🔄 And the consistency you maintained long after the transaction closed.

Think about it: many of your best opportunities will come from referrals, repeat clients, and relationships you built years ago.

That means every conversation, every transaction, and every interaction is an opportunity to build something bigger than your next commission.

Instead of asking:

“Where will my next deal come from?”

Ask yourself:

“What am I building today that can create opportunities for me 10 years from now?”

Your name, reputation, and relationships are some of the greatest assets you’ll ever build.

Invest in them every single day.

🚨 The real estate market isn’t the ceiling. You might be.
I heard a statistic from Ricky Carruth that stopped me in my tracks:

5% of real estate agents are earning 50% of the commissions.
15% are earning 99%.

That means 85% of agents are competing for the remaining 1%.

So maybe the question isn't, “Why is the real estate market so hard?”

Maybe the better question is:

What are the top-performing real estate agents doing differently?

They aren't waiting for the market to go back to the way it was.

They’re taking ownership of the market they're in.

They’re learning.
They’re adapting.
They’re improving their skills.
And most importantly, they’re consistently staying in conversation with people.

The gap in the real estate industry is growing—but I don't believe it's simply about talent.

I believe it's about consistency, discipline, relationships, and what you're willing to do repeatedly to become exceptional.

Because your next level isn't determined by the market.

It's determined by the level of real estate agent you're willing to become.

Stop asking, “Where will my next transaction come from?”

Start asking:

“What am I building today that I’ll still own 10 years from now?”

Your database.
Your relationships.
Your reputation.
Your skills.
Your business.

That’s where the real opportunity is. 📈

f the word “sales” makes you uncomfortable as a new real estate agent, read this. 👇

You don't need to pressure people.
You don't need to convince someone to buy a house.
And you definitely don't need to have all the answers before you start.

Real estate sales is about conversations, relationships, and trust.

Can you make someone feel comfortable enough to open up?

Can they tell you what they're worried about?

What they're dreaming about?

Can you listen well enough for them to think:

“This person understands me. This is the person I want helping me.”

That's sales.

Not pressure.
Not scripts.
Not convincing.

It's trust.

So if you're brand new to real estate, don't wait until you know everything.

Get out there. Beat the streets. Start conversations. Make mistakes. Learn. Get better.

Start with five quality real estate conversations today.

You don't need to become a salesperson.

You need to become someone people trust.

And instead of asking yourself, “Where will my next transaction come from?”

Ask yourself:

“What am I building today that I'll own ten years from now?”

Your relationships. Your reputation. Your database. Your business.

That's the real long-term investment. 🏡

🏡 Your best friend can love you… and still forget you’re in real estate.

Not because they don’t care.

Because they’re busy living their life.

That’s why your database isn’t just a list of people you know.

It’s a group of relationships you have a responsibility to nurture.

Call them. 📞
Text them. 💬
Send the handwritten note. ✍️
Send the email. 📧
Share something valuable about real estate. 🏡

And sometimes, forget real estate altogether.

Just ask:

“How can I help you?”

Ricky Carruth talks about how handwritten notes, texts, and emails are working extremely well right now, especially as cold-call pickup rates continue to decline.

I’d add phone calls to that list.

But here’s the real secret:

The channel isn’t the secret. Consistency is.

Your goal is to become so consistently valuable that when someone’s real estate moment arrives, they don’t have to Google who to call.

They already know.

It’s you.

So don’t ask:

❌ “Where will my next transaction come from?”

Ask:

✅ “What will I own 10 years from now?”

Build the relationships today that will create the opportunities tomorrow.

What if you don’t actually need more leads? What if you need more conversations?

“I just need more leads.”

We hear that all the time in real estate. But the truth is, your next client may already be sitting in your database, saved in your phone, or connected to someone who already knows and trusts you.

Think about it.

People get married.
Families grow.
Jobs change.
Parents age.
Kids move out.
Investors start looking for opportunities.

Life creates real estate conversations every single day.

But if you’re not staying connected, you may never know when someone needs you.

The agents who build lasting businesses aren’t always the ones chasing the newest lead source. They’re the ones who consistently:

✅ Stay in touch
✅ Ask better questions
✅ Listen
✅ Follow up
✅ Stay top of mind
✅ Build genuine relationships

So here’s a challenge:

Reach out to 5 people you already know today.

Don’t sell them anything.
Don’t send a generic “just checking in” message.

Ask how they’re doing.
Ask what’s new.
Be genuinely curious.

One conversation could lead to a referral.
It could uncover a life change.
It could create an opportunity you never would have found through a cold lead.

Conversations build relationships.
Relationships build trust.
Trust builds businesses.

If you want to learn how to turn everyday conversations into consistent real estate business, let’s talk.

Build your business around relationships—not just leads.
