If you live in Silicon Valley — or any other high-cost California housing market — and you are renting because buying feels impossible, this one is for you.

You are not imagining the frustration.

A lot of working professionals are earning solid incomes, paying painful monthly rent, and still watching homeownership move farther out of reach.

At some point, the question is not whether you are working hard enough.

The question is whether the market you are in still makes sense for the life you are trying to build.

There may be a better path.
