✨ Legacy Group Friends and Family. I’m sharing this with you first, with a full and prayerful heart. ✨
For several months now, people I deeply respect and trust have gently—and persistently—encouraged me to consider running for Mayor. This is not something I ever take lightly, nor is it a decision to be made by ambition or emotion. Any step like this must be laid at the feet of Jesus, weighed with prayer, fasting, and a sober understanding of the responsibility it carries.
When God begins to place a burden on your heart and quietly directs your steps, answering that call doesn’t always follow with instant clarity or confidence. Often, it comes with a continuous daily surrender. It takes time to see yourself where He is leading you and even more courage to say, “Yes, Lord,” before you know every detail.
In a moment of reflection, I asked a simple question using ChatGPT "Why would someone want to be Mayor?" The answer stopped me in my tracks. It reflected the very heart that God has been shaping in me for years—a heart for people, stewardship, service, and legacy.
So, Legacy Real Estate Group… our family, our friends, our community, this is the beginning of a new journey. One that stretches beyond business, beyond comfort, and deeper into what it means to truly serve others.
No self-promotion. No personal gain. Just a willing heart, a love for people, and a deep desire to honor God in every step, and most of all, to leave a world that is safer, stronger, and more Godly for our children. The thing that will outlast you. "Your Legacy."
If God is in this—and I believe He is—I invite you to pray with me, walk this journey with me, and trust Him as we take the next faithful step forward to answering "The Call." 🤍
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3
I love this description of what a mayor can do at the heart of the role—but with one important truth: no one does this alone. A mayor has one voice, yes, but real progress happens by working together—alongside a body of leaders, city staff, and most importantly, by listening to the people.
Strong communities are built through collaboration, humility, and shared purpose. Leadership isn’t about standing above others; it’s about walking with them, hearing their concerns, valuing their wisdom, and serving with integrity.
If we move forward, it will be together. Rooted in faith. Guided by prayer. Grounded in the belief that when we listen well, steward wisely, and love people genuinely, God can do far more than any one person ever do.
Forward. 🤍
