It is so easy in our tech world to want answers and we immediately turn to google. However, google is not the greatest on some subjects, like Real Estate. There really are so many wrong things being whispered about that I just have to crush em' now.

❌You can't buy a home because I don't have 20% to put down on a home.
✅ Buyer's do not need 20% down to purchase a home

❌ Realtors can only showing me homes that they have listed or with their Company
✅ Realtors can show you any home on the market - no matter who the listing agent or listing brokerage is.

❌ You can't use gifts, grants or loans for your down payment
✅ This all depends on your lender. However, most lender will allow you to use a gift to pay for some, if not all of the down payment.

❌ Overpricing a home results in a high price
✅ Having this mindset could actually result in a longer sale.
