We are excited to announce that our community event, the 2026 Egg Hunt, will be proudly sponsored by Capitol Bridge Health Services! Their unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Bogalusa is truly commendable, and we cannot thank them enough for their continuous support.

Mark your calendars for the Easter Bash, taking place on March 28th, where the festivities will commence at 11 AM. The highlight of the day, the Egg Hunt, will kick off promptly at 12:30 PM, promising a memorable experience for all participants.

Children participating in the Egg Hunt will gather at the main stage at 12:30 PM. From there, they will be guided to their respective hunting areas based on age, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. The age divisions are as follows:

- Walking to 5 years old
- Ages 6 to 9 years old
- Ages 10 to 12 years old

We encourage families to come early and enjoy the various activities and attractions planned throughout the day, leading up to the Egg Hunt.

A heartfelt thank you once again to Capitol Bridge Health Services for their significant contribution, as this event would not be feasible without their generous support.

We are absolutely delighted to share that the Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting an exciting Easter Bash! This event promises to be a memorable day filled with fun and joy for families, so be sure to mark your calendars and join us for a fantastic celebration!

Stay tuned as we will soon reveal a detailed lineup of activities and attractions planned for the day, ensuring a delightful experience for all ages.

We are currently seeking three engaging food vendors to tantalize taste buds, four delightful vendors specializing in sweets, and several craft vendors to showcase their unique creations. Please note that vendor spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t hesitate to secure your spot!

We also call upon non-profit organizations, churches, and local businesses to partner with us in making this event a success! We invite you to set up interactive and entertaining games for the children. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community and foster connections in a fun environment.

Let’s come together to fill the day with positivity and joy!

We are thrilled to announce that Beta Beta Lambda Fraternity will be joining us for our upcoming Black History Month Program on February 26th at 10 am, to be held at City Hall!

The fraternity will showcase an electrifying step show that is bound to captivate and inspire.

We are still looking for additional participation from other sororities, fraternities, and community organizations interested in contributing to this event. Please reach out to us to get involved.

Other participants include Helen Edwards NorthShore Charter School, Bogalusa High School Band, Paper Dolls & JROTC, Central Elementary School Steppers and Choir, and Byrd Ave Elementary Choir!
