🏡✨ September Resident of the Month: Meet Shanan! ✨🏡

We’re so excited to celebrate Shanan, who has called The Cottages home for the past 6 months! 💛

She fell in love with the cottage-style living and attached garages, and says her favorite parts of the community are the people, our staff, her garage, and the peaceful atmosphere. (Her one exception? When the landscapers are around 😂🌿)

When she’s out and about, you can probably find her enjoying one of her local favorites, Jim ’N Nick’s! 🍽️

But our favorite fun fact? Shanan jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at 51 years old! ✈️😳 Talk about taking “stepping outside your comfort zone” seriously!

And when asked about pets, Shanan had us cracking up:
“No pets—I can barely take care of myself!” 😂

If she ever changes her mind, though, there may be a bulldog named George in her future. And no, apparently he has nothing to do with UGA. 😉🐶
