Now that the weather is getting warmer. I am sure all of us Idahoans are wanting to go out and do some warmer activities.

Let’s put together a list of things to do in the valley and surrounding areas. Who knows, maybe you’ll get to try something new.

I’ll start, my favorite activity is going to Lovely Hollow Farm with my family to cut beautiful flowers and enjoy the laid back vibes.

We all know interest rates are on the rise, but did you know that you can qualify for a lower rate by having a great credit score? Here are a few tips to make sure you’re on the right path when preparing to buy a house.

1. Check your credit. Take control of how you are building it by knowing what is on your credit.
2. Pay your bills on time. Easy right?
3. Watch your credit utilization. You’re probaby wondering what that means. Example: if you have a credit card limit of $1000 and you owe $475 your utilization is 47.5% a good rule of thumb is to keep it under 30%.

Why did I become a real estate agent?

I remember feeling so excited when my husband and I rented our first 700 square foot apartment. We were new parents with a motivation to make it our home. I found wall stickers that wouldn’t damage the paint and fun decor to show our style. That was the most we could do to make it our home. We used to have talks about one day becoming home owners.

The day we got the keys to our brand new house I felt a sense of freedom as I walked through the front door. We were finally able to do what we wanted with our house. Thoughts of throwing amazing birthday parties for our children or hosting family dinners during the holidays were in the forefront of my mind. I was so excited. I could finally paint my walls!

The obvious answer could be that I want to help people find their dream home. The truth is, I want to help people envision the memories they will make and moments that they will have in their new home. The feeling that I had when I walked into my house is the same feeling I am striving for when my clients when walk into their new house. That is the reason why I became a real estate agent.
