Costco in south Meridian — under construction, late 2026 targeted.

Peregrine at I-84 Exit 74 — 1,000 acres proposed, early approvals.

District at Ten Mile — 200 acres under construction, Target and In-N-Out coming.

Apple Store at The Village — permits filed, Apple has not confirmed.

Micron — first fab rising, first wafers targeted mid-2027.

This one might be the best carnitas I've had so far...

Tacos La Piedad off North 21st Street in Caldwell, Idaho.

The owners' roots are from Michoacán, known as the home of carnitas .

Everyone is talking about the massive 200,000 sqft Costco going up in south MERIDIAN near Lake Hazel and what it means for the neighborhoods around it.

Here is everything you need to know.

A brand new Costco warehouse, distribution center, and 24-pump gas station are currently under construction at the southeast corner of Meridian Road and Lake Hazel Road in south Meridian near the Kuna border.

The numbers are big. 200,000+ sqft warehouse. Nearly 1,000 parking stalls. 24 fuel pumps. Five access points. Part of Brighton Corp's 200-acre Pinnacle Marketplace commercial development with seven additional commercial lots surrounding it.

Project value near $50 million based on permits filed with the City of Meridian.

Local reporting from Idaho Statesman and Idaho Press indicates a late 2026 opening is expected — though Costco has not officially confirmed a date and Meridian is not yet listed on Costco's official upcoming openings page as of August 2026.

When it opens MERIDIAN will be the only city in IDAHO with two Costcos.
