Price - Location - Features… In that order! These are the major levers of a custom home search.

When beginning the home search, it's best to start with as broad of a search as possible. Then, after checking out some of the available inventory within your price range, you can begin to narrow your focus! But it is better to have a broad search and scan through a few more properties than to have a narrow search and miss an absolute GEM!

It might shock you, but a home will never "fail" its inspection. Contrary to popular belief, home inspections are not a pass/fail test for the quality of the home. Rather, the inspection is meant to educate the buyer on the condition of the home, allowing you to make an informed decision on whether the home is worth the work that may be involved to maintain it.

A quality, thorough home inspection is a must in any prudent home purchase. In our book, it is a non-negotiable aspect of buying a home!
