Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed two housing laws aimed at boosting supply and cutting zoning barriers. The first limits cities' ability to block high-density starter home developments, mandating smaller lot sizes down to 1,400 square feet and requiring at least 12 units per acre. The second prohibits local governments and HOAs from restricting ADU construction, guaranteeing property owners the right to build at least one per lot.
