One thing about Michael: he’s never going to let a team meeting be just about houses and numbers.

At HomeFound, we spend a lot of time on the human stuff too.

Perception, NLP, the way our own experiences shape what we see, hear and assume. Two people can be in the exact same moment and experience it completely differently.

And that matters in real estate.

It matters when a client is overwhelmed, when a conversation gets hard., when someone needs to feel understood instead of managed.

We all show up differently, and we’re not trying to change that. We want to understand it better so we can show up for ourselves, each other and our clients with more intention.

These are just little glimpses into how we connect, challenge each other, learn and collaborate as a team.

Real estate is human. We think the way we do it should be too.

Real estate isn’t just pretty houses and perfect closing photos.

Sometimes getting someone into the home they want, or helping a seller get where they need to go, takes a little creativity.

Owner carries, different terms, a few extra conversations or a solution that isn’t the obvious one.

Hiccups don’t scare us. They just mean it’s time to problem-solve.

Because on the other side of it could be a dream home, a successful sale, a fresh start, or the next chapter someone has been working toward. That’s always worth fighting for. 🏡

This is Debbie. 💛

And if you know Debbie, you know she is usually the one showing up for everyone else.

Earlier this year, we got the chance to turn that around and show up for her.

With the help of some really incredible volunteers, we started the process of helping Debbie reclaim her home. We moved, hauled, sorted, cleaned and made a whole lot of progress together.

But we’re not done yet.

This November, we’re going back for the final phase, and this time we’re tackling the inside of her home.

Our goal is simple: let’s see how far we can take this for Debbie.

We’re raising funds to cover the costs of the project first, but we’re dreaming beyond that too. If we can raise enough, maybe that means bringing in a professional deep clean when we’re finished. Maybe it means being able to take care of needs we discover along the way. Every extra dollar gives us a little more room to say, “Yep, we can take care of that too.”

Because after everything is sorted, moved and organized, we don’t just want to leave Debbie with less stuff.

We want to leave her with her home back.

The best part of this night wasn’t the dinner or the w**e or even how beautiful Telaya looked.

It was looking around and realizing how many different people had chosen to be there for the same reason.

That’s the kind of Boise we want more of.

This is what it looks like when a community shows up for each other. ❤️

Our annual event, Helping of Hope brought together a room full of people who chose to spend an evening connecting, celebrating, and supporting the incredible work of Aspen Grove Community Center

To every person who bought a ticket, pulled up a chair, shared a meal, started a conversation, and showed up for this community, thank you. These nights only mean something because of the people in them.
