Staging matters.
Smaller spaces actually feel roomier with furniture and decor in them, and staging allows potential buyers to imagine themselves living in the home.
The thought process goes from, “I don’t think my couch would fit in here” to “My couch is probably about the same size as that one.”
Whether or not I recommend staging to my sellers depends on the market, sales price, size of the home, and many other factors. It’s not always required, but in some cases- it really makes it a home run.
