Justin told us to ask Jay about the ladder locks… so of course we had to.

A little friendly reminder to always double-check those ladder locks!

Buying a home is a big decision, and we know there can be a lot of questions along the way.

We’ve been inspecting homes across the Treasure Valley since 1994, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the little things matter just as much as the big ones.

We take the time to look closely, explain what we find, and make sure you have the information you need. We’re not here to tell you whether to buy a home. We’re here to help you understand it.

That’s why we do what we do.

Meet Matt Foster 👋

Matt has spent most of his career somewhere in the “homesphere, hemisphere.” With a background in real estate and roofing, home inspections ended up being a pretty natural landing point.

Having been on the other side of the transaction, he brings that perspective into his inspections and the way he walks clients through what he finds.

And according to one recent client, it shows:

⭐️ “The best home inspection experience ever. This is our 3rd home inspection (40 plus years) and this was a great experience from Matt. His knowledge and detailed description on issues vs cosmetic imperfections are greatly appreciated.”

Given the opportunity to choose his Inspector Spotlight soundtrack, Matt made it pretty clear he lives for this.🤘

Another happy homeowner! 🏠🔎

Blake Neeser went above and beyond to make sure this first-time homebuyer understood exactly what was found during their inspection. Thorough inspections, clear explanations, and helpful guidance—that’s what we’re all about.

Thank you for the great review! We’re proud to have inspectors like Blake on the AAD Inspection team. 👏

We have to share this special 5-star review for our inspector Matt Foster!

"Yesterday Matt did a Home inspection for me on a home in Boise ID. He was extremely thorough and went over everything as soon as he was finished with the inspection. I had a complete breakdown of everything in writing the following day. It broke down what he found, Inspection Issues, Ownership Tips, pictures along with detailed documentation of his findings. He also let me know if there were any questions to please reach out to him and he would be happy to answer them. Matt was a true professional and said he inspects each home as if his wife, mother, or sister were buying the home. He insures he does a thorough inspection and will take the time to answer any and all questions you may have. I highly recommend this company, and especially this inspector, Matt!"

We wanted to take a moment to recognize these four outstanding inspectors and congratulate them on earning their Certified Master Inspector designation! 👏👏👏

We are proud to now have four Certified Master Inspectors on our team—the most on any single team in Idaho!

They have each put in the time, effort, and dedication to reach this achievement, and their experience is reflected in the quality of every inspection report they deliver.

Congratulations and great work to Mike Fry, Justin Love, Blake Neeser, and Matt Foster!
