During a recent roof inspection, we caught this permanent safety tie-off anchor missing its protective rubber flashing/cover plate.

Leaving the base exposed like this is a direct invitation for water to leak right under the shingles. Over time, that tiny oversight leads to big attic moisture problems and dry rot.

Tree roots naturally seek out moisture, and even a tiny crack or loose joint in a sewer pipe is enough for them to get inside. Once they do, they keep growing, expanding inside the pipe like a slow-moving clog. Over time, this can lead to:

During a recent inspection, we found a disconnected bathtub drain line sending water straight into the crawl space. Meanwhile upstairs, everything looked totally normal.
