The most important thing to know? **There isn’t one standard commission rate.** Real estate commissions are negotiable and can vary depending on the agent, brokerage, property, and services being provided.

And with changes in the real estate industry over the past few years, **seller and buyer-agent compensation should be discussed separately and clearly before you sign anything.**

One of Boise’s favorite traditions is back! 🎈

The **Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic** returns **September 2–6**, bringing five mornings of colorful balloons over the Treasure Valley — plus some fun special events throughout the week.

A few highlights to know:

🎈 **Wednesday – Kid’s Day:** Free tethered balloon rides for kids, first come, first served
🎈 **Thursday – First Launch:** A great morning to catch the balloons with potentially smaller weekday crowds
✨ **Friday – Nite Glow:** Food, vendors, live music, activities and the always-popular evening balloon glow
🎈 **Saturday – Family Morning Launch:** An early start, but one of the best mornings to bring the whole family
🌅 **Sunday – Great Launch:** Dawn Patrol followed by the final morning flight

Most morning activities start around 5:30–6:45 AM, with flights typically happening around 7:20 AM.

Keep in mind that ballooning is completely weather-dependent, so be sure to check for updates before heading out.

Grab some coffee, bring the kids, and enjoy one of those events that makes Boise such a special place to call home. ❤️
