Phil’s Bio

Phil Mount is an agent at Front Street Brokers in Boise, Idaho. Phil became a licensed REALTOR in August 2009 after a 25 year career as a technology marketing professional. In his first year as an agent Phil was recognized in the Circle of Excellence by the Ada County Association of REALTORS® (ACAR) as among the top 10 percent producers, a distinction he maintains today. At the same time Phil earned two professional certifications, GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and ePRO , focused on technology marketing. Phil serves on the Board of Directors at the Ada County Association of Realtors, and is the Treasurer of the Association. Phil is also a State Director of the Idaho Association of Realtors. Phil is active with three committees of the Ada County Association of Realtors—the Realtors Political Action Committee, Political Affairs Committee and Member Communications Committee, which he chaired in 2011, and is a member of the Legislative Affairs Committee in the Idaho Association of Realtors. The National Association of Realtors recognized Phil as a RPAC Sterling R in 2013 and in 2014 and 2015 added President’s Circle designation.

Phil was accepted to the Idaho Realtors Leadership Academy in 2015. Phil is also a co-host of the Boise Real Estate Radio show, broadcasting every Thursday at 3:00 on KRBX 89.9. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Phil worked for Hewlett-Packard as an Alliance Manager in HP’s Imaging and Printing Business Unit, managing 3rd-party partner relationships with 50+ software companies who integrated their solutions with HP printing products. This role capped 22 years marketing technology products around the world, including four years based in Europe managing products and programs in the Europe / Middle-East/Africa region. After those years living in Germany and France, Phil has an acute appreciate of the diversity of cultures and differing needs of every client. In addition Phil held various senior Product Manager, Program Manager and Operations Management roles. Phil also co-founded a technology-focused go-to-market consultancy that was bootstrapped to $3M in revenue in four years, with a client portfolio that included Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, Intel, Microsoft and HP. As a founding partner, Phil was responsible for all aspects of the business, from business development to account management and day-to-day operations. Phil holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in Production and Operations Management, both from Boise State University. Phil earned both degrees while working full time at Hewlett-Packard. In his spare time Phil enjoys driving fast cars, exploring the great wines of the world (but not at the same time) as well as preparing (and eating) great cuisine.
