This one officially found its people (and pup) 🧔

Clients who come to me through someone I love will never feel casual to me. It feels like trust being passed along… and I carry that with so much care every single time.

And this was one of those 🄰

Helping them buy their very first home is already such a special process, but the moment I’ll never forget?

Their sweet pup seeing her new home for the first time. 🐾

She walked in, made a beeline for the front window, and rested her chin perfectly on the sill like she’d done it a hundred times before.
The exact height for her to sit and watch the world go by.
Like the house had been waiting for her.

Those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.
It’s never just about buying a house— it’s about finding the place where your life fits.

So grateful to have been the one to walk alongside them on this journey.

Congratulations to Liz + Grady šŸŽ‰

2025 was not just a year of transactions - it was a year of transitions.

So many of the homes I was trusted with last year were tied to meaningful life shifts. Chapters closing. New beginnings taking shape. It was a reminder that real estate is rarely just about buying or selling a house, it’s about people and the moments that change us.

I don’t take it lightly when clients invite me into those chapters. Walking alongside people through big life moments is an honor, and one I care deeply about.

As we step into 2026, I’m grateful for the stories that brought us here and excited for what’s ahead. I’ll always be here for the tender transitions and the big wins, the up-levels, the fresh starts, and the celebrations.

Here’s to the next chapter 🧔

And if you’re standing at the edge of a new one this year, I’m always happy to be a resource.

What’s your favorite feature in a true Mid Century time capsule? A bold bathroom, vintage appliances, a wood-paneled fireplace? šŸ‘€

Tell me below, because this one has all three (plus a backyard that feels like your own private park). 🌿🤩

#1: WOOD-PANELED FIREPLACE WALL — that quintessential mid century warmth that makes you want to curl up with a good record and a cup of coffee.

#2: ORIGINAL PURPLE TILE BATHROOM — a vintage Hollywood Regency moment in all its glory. šŸ’œ

#3: GE COPPERTONE APPLIANCES — yes, the real deal! The original kitchen and dining area are practically untouched, complete with the iconic 1960s Coppertone finish appliances that’s are as rare as they are cool.

BONUS #4: .84 ACRE LOT — a backyard that is as close to your own private park as you can get, with mature trees, open space, and room to bring your vision to life. 🌿

Last weekend we had the pleasure of introducing one of Boise’s most unique homes to the market: a hillside Earth Home unlike anything else in the city.

Tucked into the east foothills just above downtown, The Earth House seamlessly blends architecture and nature in a way that feels timeless, embodying the very essence of organic architecture.

From the moment it went live, this home captured attention. With more than 70,000 impressions across real estate platforms and social media, the response was overwhelming. Within days, over 400 people came through the home in person. After an incredibly successful open house weekend, we received multiple offers, proving once again that when a home has a story and that story is told well, buyers show up.

At Mid-Century Homes, we specialize in presenting properties like this with the respect and creativity they deserve. These are homes that don’t just sell based on market value, but on architecture, design, and originality brought to life through thoughtful storytelling.

This home isn’t mid-century, it was built in 1982, but its spirit and architectural curiosity fit beautifully into the lineage of Boise’s most iconic design eras. It’s even rumored that Art Troutner, Boise’s own mid-century ā€œstarchitect,ā€ had early involvement in the development stages of this property.

Years before they ever planned to sell, the homeowners collaborated with my teammate to bring their vision for the space to life. That early connection helped set the stage for how beautifully the home presents today. It’s a reminder of how valuable it is to have a knowledgeable, creative team supporting you every step of the way.

The Earth House is now under contract, and we’re so proud of the story it told and the way our marketing helped it find its next caretaker 🧔

There’s still one last chance to experience it in person. Our monthly Mid-Century Home Tour will have exclusive access this Saturday, October 11th. We’ll meet at 9:30am at our office šŸ“3130 W State St. for coffee and caravan to three amazing homes, including this one ✨

Built in the golden age of post-war optimism when homeownership represented hope, stability and the promise of a bright future. With its cheerful green shutters, original hardwood floors and cozy brick fireplace, it’s the kind of house that feels like home the moment you step inside.

Thoughtful updates, like HVAC and plumbing, mean you can enjoy the vintage character without sacrificing comfort. Natural light pours in through large picture windows, the archways add architectural charm and classic details like built ins, bring warmth and personality.

Just minutes from the Boise Depot, downtown and local parks, it’s perfectly placed near the best of Boise. Lovingly cared for and rich in history, this gem is ready to sparkle for its next chapter ✨
