Last weekend we had the pleasure of introducing one of Boiseās most unique homes to the market: a hillside Earth Home unlike anything else in the city.
Tucked into the east foothills just above downtown, The Earth House seamlessly blends architecture and nature in a way that feels timeless, embodying the very essence of organic architecture.
From the moment it went live, this home captured attention. With more than 70,000 impressions across real estate platforms and social media, the response was overwhelming. Within days, over 400 people came through the home in person. After an incredibly successful open house weekend, we received multiple offers, proving once again that when a home has a story and that story is told well, buyers show up.
At Mid-Century Homes, we specialize in presenting properties like this with the respect and creativity they deserve. These are homes that donāt just sell based on market value, but on architecture, design, and originality brought to life through thoughtful storytelling.
This home isnāt mid-century, it was built in 1982, but its spirit and architectural curiosity fit beautifully into the lineage of Boiseās most iconic design eras. Itās even rumored that Art Troutner, Boiseās own mid-century āstarchitect,ā had early involvement in the development stages of this property.
Years before they ever planned to sell, the homeowners collaborated with my teammate to bring their vision for the space to life. That early connection helped set the stage for how beautifully the home presents today. Itās a reminder of how valuable it is to have a knowledgeable, creative team supporting you every step of the way.
The Earth House is now under contract, and weāre so proud of the story it told and the way our marketing helped it find its next caretaker š§”
Thereās still one last chance to experience it in person. Our monthly Mid-Century Home Tour will have exclusive access this Saturday, October 11th. Weāll meet at 9:30am at our office š3130 W State St. for coffee and caravan to three amazing homes, including this one āØ
