I’m entering my soft life era…

Not because life suddenly became easy.
Not because I stopped working hard.
And not because the responsibilities disappeared.

I’m entering this season because God taught me that peace is necessary.

There was a time when survival mode felt normal.
Constantly pouring.
Constantly building.
Constantly carrying the weight of leadership, business, motherhood, clients, goals, expectations, and pressure.

But growth changes you.

I’ve learned that softness is not weakness.
Rest is not laziness.
Boundaries are healthy.
And peace is one of the greatest forms of wealth.

I still lead.
I still build.
I still close deals.
I still show up for my agents and clients with excellence.

But now I do it with intention.
With alignment.
With grace.
With God at the center.

We wanted to inform you of a significant development regarding Savvy Chicks in Real Estate® and its founder, Makeda Smith our decision to part ways with Akweya Properties.

Effective as of January 6, we have officially parted ways with Akweya Properties.

As with other developers around the world, we will work directly with those in Ghana for our current clients and investors.

It’s with a heavy heart that I had to make this decision but it is best for me personally and professionally.

I’ve worked hard to build this brand and the reputation we have built goes back to when I got my real estate license in 2004. I did not get here lightly but I did have to move expeditiously to separate myself and the brand.
