The 12th Annual Hardheads Bolivar Rig Run was a huge success, bringing nearly 50 sailboats and countless spectators together for a beautiful day of racing, fellowship, and coastal fun.

The Bolivar Point Lighthouse Foundation, led by Executive Director Amy Maxwell Chase and President Mike Maxwell, has spent the past 10 years restoring the historic landmark after more than a century of hurricanes, coastal winds, humidity and even an accidental military shelling left the beacon a shadow of its former self.
