As shared in a prior announcement, last year I made the decision to shift the business model of More-Land Realty to no longer include outside independent agents. Each agent was notified of the approximately timeline, and today I want to share that Jon Franse is the last independent agent to be “pushed out of the nest”—in the most supportive, cheering-him-on kind of way.

Jon has officially moved his license to High Standard Real Estate, LLC, joining Chais Rankin and his team (including prior More-Land Realty agent Kevin Pierce). Chais, you’ve gained some GREAT agents!

Jon has been part of my office since December 2024, and it’s been really special to watch his journey. He started as a client, quickly became a friend, and then stepped into real estate—growing into a strong agent and a true asset to our office along the way. His dedication to his clients and his drive to keep learning have always stood out.

I’m so grateful for the time we’ve worked together and the friendship we’ve built. I fully support Jon as he takes this next step, and I have no doubt he’s going to continue doing great things.

Over the years I have been blessed to have had many great Realtors hold their license with my office, More-Land Realty. About a year ago I made the decision to phase out independent agents within my office (except of course for my husband, Bob Moreland who I'm keeping! 😂) and Bob and I will continue as a team at More-Land Realty, LLC.

At the time of my decision, I made my agents aware and Amanda Crawford was the first to make a move. Joining the team at Billy Bruce Realty was a great opportunity for Amanda. Shannon Vest Floyd followed her dream of opening her own business, Persimmon Hill Designs, which has been a very successful career move for her! (well to be honest, Shannon is my sister and she had already told me she was planning on leaving me to open Persimmon Hill Designs 😉) Remaining Realtors, Kevin Pierce and Jon Franz began considering their next options.

Now, after careful consideration, Kevin made the decision to transition from More-Land Realty to High Standard Real Estate, LLC. This transition is a direct reflection of changes within my brokerage, and I fully support him in this move.

Kevin has been a valued part of More-Land Realty over the past two years. I’ve appreciated his professionalism, commitment to his clients, and the growth he has shown in the industry.
