The reenactors packed up the second week of August. Fifty-some volunteers in French, British, American, and Indigenous dress spent August 8th and 9th recreating battles on the grounds of Crown Point State Historic Site, cannons firing at 11 and 2 on Saturday, muskets at 3, one more recreated skirmish Sunday morning before everyone loaded wagons and drove home.
