After months of rising inventory in the Naples area residential real estate market, closed sales increased 4% year over year in April, according to data from the Naples Area Board of REALTORS. This is the first month closed sales have exceeded past years’ monthly comparable sales since June 2021. There were 999 closed sales, 1,115 pending sales and 2,365 price reductions in April. Homes stayed on the market for an average of 66 days, with a median closing price of $650,000. Overall inventory continued to climb with a 68% year-over-year increase, and new listings rose 16%, NABOR reports.

The Capital Grille fine dining and steakhouse is set to open June 24 at BELL TOWER SHOPS in south Fort Myers. Known for dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and a world-class wine list, the 10,156-square-foot restaurant was built near the southwest corner of the shopping center on land along Daniels Parkway formerly occupied by Mimi’s Cafe at 5070 Bell Tower Shops Ave. The location features a lounge as well as six private spaces for events. The dining room will be open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
