Naples property taxes are changing for 2027 — but the headline number is probably less dramatic than it sounds.
Naples City Council approved a 1.29 mill citywide property tax rate, up from 1.23 mills for fiscal year 2026–27. For a property with $1 million in taxable value, that change works out to about $60 more per year in the City of Naples portion of the tax bill, assuming taxable value stays the same.
One important distinction: this applies to properties inside the City of Naples, not every home with a Naples mailing address. Taxable value, exemptions, taxing districts and other assessments can all change what an owner actually pays.
