Alex was born and raised in Naples, so he’s experienced its tremendous growth and incredible lifestyle firsthand. He lived here until he was 6, at which point his family moved up to Chicago, where his dad had gotten a job with Kraft Foods. That only lasted 4 years before his parents remembered why they moved down to Florida in the first place (the weather, slower pace of life, business-friendly cl
imate, and safety) and decided to come back. They wound up right on the same street they lived on before, where his parents still live to this day. Alex started going to Community School of Naples, a Pre-K through 12th school where he built lifelong friendships. After graduating, Alex went to college at the University of Miami, then moved back up to Chicago, where he got his first job at JP Morgan Chase. It was a great company, but he realized he wasn’t a fit for a corporate structure, so he decided to go out on his own, trying every business model he could think of. None of these businesses quite worked out, but with each one, he was learning more and more about advertising online. His mom had become a Realtor back when they originally moved down from Chicago, and Alex had always had a passion for real estate, so he decided to move back and help her with the online side of her business. After a lot of experimentation, he found a winning formula with his ad campaigns. He decided to get licensed and was able to hit the ground running because he had such great lead flow. After doing over $25M in sales in his first year in the business, including selling one of the top 5 most expensive homes in all of Olde Naples, Alex decided it was time to start a team. He loves sharing his knowledge with new agents and being able to help more clients (and each individual client more effectively) through the team. The Alex Owens Team contributes a portion of all monthly proceeds to the registered 501c3, Sell a Home, Save a Child, which supports underprivileged children in orphanages. Having been adopted himself, Alex immediately knew he wanted to get involved when he discovered the work the organization was doing.
