Sellers no longer will negotiate the buyer portion of commission prior to listing their homes. This means lower commissions for the listing agreement (YAY!!) but it also means changes to how buyer agents get paid, so they should be expecting buyers to ask for $$ in their offers, especially true if it's first time buyers. I think it will save them money overall, though.
