🎸 Boonerang Music & Arts Festival is June 19–21. This is THE event of the month. Downtown Boone shuts down (in the best way) for a FREE three day street festival featuring multiple music stages, local food, craft beer, art vendors, a silent disco, kids zone, and artists who love this town enough to keep coming back. That’s the whole point! Once you experience Boone, you Boonerang back as much as you can! If you’ve never been, this is your invite to come join us this year!

🌿 Music in the Valle kicked off last night at Valle Crucis Community Park, and it’s pure High Country magic every single week. Grab a blanket, a picnic, and your people, there’s honestly nothing better!

🎶 Beech Mountain Summer Concert Series kicks off this season with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead on June 13! At 5,506 feet, it’s not just a concert it’s an unbelievable mountaintop experience. Which show are you most excited about seeing this year?!

And that’s just the start. From The Blowing Charity Horse show and Art in the Park, to farmers markets and amazing theatrical productions, plus live music just about every day, the High Country truly comes to life in June 🌷🎶

We’ve rounded up all the events, vibes, and excuses to get out and enjoy High Country as we leap forward into Spring 🌿🍀

This weekend in Boone is popping starting with First Friday Art Crawl, Flannel Fest on Saturday at Appalachian Mountain Brewery, and Baby Got Brunch on Sunday. Benefitting the Colon Cancer Coalition, the Boone Brunch Crawl will be held at some of our favorite restaurants including fizzEd Boone, Wild Craft Eatery, Betty's Biscuits, The Social, and Vidalia Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Later this month is one of our our absolute fave events, Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour at Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts and Old Crow Medicine Show is gracing the stage at Appalachian Theater this month as well!!

Other festivities include The Meltdown Games at Appalachian Ski Mountain, A Blowing Rock Murder Mystery at Hotel Embers benefitting WAMY Community Action, one of our favorite local charity organizations!

We’ve also got Sunrise at the Swinging Bridge at Grandfather Mountain, Runs for Buns at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and the 2nd annual Children's Art Crawl in West Jefferson!

Shewww, it’s a busy month! Spring is in full swing and we are here for it 🙌🙌🙌
