On this Patriot Day, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the first responders and service members whose courage reminded us what unity looks like. Their sacrifice continues to inspire our team today.

🌶️ SBC Pepper Fest – Saturday, Aug. 22 — 11 AM–7 PM at Re*****on Garage. Hot sauces, food trucks, local vendors, live music and spicy foods. Tickets are $18; kids 12 and under are free.

🍅 Shreveport Farmers’ Market – Saturday morning — 8 AM–noon at Festival Plaza. Fresh produce, local food, handmade goods and food trucks. Free admission.

🎨 50 Year Reflection Opening Reception – Saturday — 10 AM–2 PM at Artspace, celebrating 50 years of local arts and community organizations.
