I am passionate about real estate and attend regular continuing education classes to stay current with local and national changes in the real estate market, new federal and local regulations and trends and I most recently became Certified Short Sale, Foreclosure and REO agent. No agent should ever call themselves an expert in this field as this world is ever-changing, but I have the knowledge and
experience with these properties to guide you through the process of selling or buying a distressed property. Additionally, I will provide you with monthly Comparative Market Analysis reports or as often as the market changes in your neighborhood. I can also offer you assistance on what you may need to upgrade or touch up in your property to bring you the maximum return and provide you with regular feedback from showings and Open Houses, both positive and negative. For Buyers, not only can I help you identify and purchase a property, but I have access to a network of professionals including mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys and contractors. I will provide you with a regular market analysis reports, recent sales information and guidance in helping you purchase the property at the best value for you. For both Sellers and Buyers, my job does not end when an Offer is accepted or a Purchase & Sale Agreement is signed. I am able to close the sale by working directly with banks, insurance agents and attorneys to expedite necessary information required and I always attend Closings with both Sellers and Buyers. I will also provide you with recommendations for local professionals and local area information. For Renters, I will provide you with recent rental information and run a credit check for you so you will know your FICO score up front that potential lessors will be reviewing. I will provide you with association rules and regulations, a list of utility companies and local businesses to aid you in your move. My Dad is a retired Real Estate Broker/Certified Appraiser who worked initially with Jack Lee Real Estate Waltham and later started his own real estate firm in Sudbury, MA: Bartley Faherty Real Estate. I worked as an assistant for him, attending showings and preparing purchase documents and appraisal packages as my Dad was a one- finger typist and forms at the time were in triplicate! I also worked previously as Legal Secretary for Hill & Barlow in Boston preparing Closing Documents for their extremely busy Real Estate department, working nights and every weekend for Charlie Ames, a well-known top-producing Real Estate Attorney who always had a team of 8-10 assistants working with him to close major real estate deals. Real Estate runs in the family as my sister Joanne Mahoney worked for Looney & Grossman as a Paralegal and my sister-in-law, Ellen Faherty is a current real estate attorney formerly of O'Neill & Young, Cambridge and now working for herself. I majored in Finance at Boston College and minored in Irish Studies. I lived in LA for a while and while I enjoy traveling back to Santa Monica and Malibu, I returned to Boston because I love the City. I love to travel to visit my parents on the West Coast of Florida and to Ireland to visit my many relatives. Locally, I enjoy going to the movies, especially those put on by the Irish Film Festival here and in LA, watching my BC Eagles and NE Patriots or going to a local Irish pub with my many cousins and friends for a pint and a chat! Most importantly, I am a full-time+ real estate agent who is able to show a property on a moment's notice any day of the week.
