Exciting news for Downtown Crossing!

Embrace Boston, the organization behind "The Embrace" monument on Boston Common, has acquired 33 and 41 West Street with plans to transform them into a 35,000 SF social and cultural hub for racial justice: it will include an exhibition space, a theater, a podcast studio, community gathering space, and a cafe. The goal is to open by 2030, in time for Boston's 400th anniversary.

Hunneman is honored to be selected as the property management team for 33-41 West Street. We have seen firsthand what makes these buildings special - and we couldn't imagine a more meaningful next chapter for them, just steps from the Common and "The Embrace" itself.

Congratulations to Imari Paris Jeffries and the entire Embrace Boston team. We're proud to play a part in keeping these buildings running as this vision takes shape.
