A Letter for National Parents' Day:

My dad passed away over twenty years ago, but I still feel his presence every single day.

He was truly the hardest-working man I’ve ever known. A father of eight, he worked as a plumber for Harvard University by day, and spent his nights and Saturdays taking on side jobs. I had the privilege of assisting him on those side jobs—which, honestly, taught me early on that plumbing wasn't the career path for me! The work was dirty, grueling, and physically exhausting. But beyond his work ethic, he had a massive heart. He always made time to help folks who were struggling financially because he genuinely cared about people. Respectful, loyal, and honest to his core, I could not have asked for a better father.

Happy Heavenly Parents’ Day to Dad (and Mom, too).
