Perhaps the single most meaningful sale I have ever been part of.
"Home" is so much more than a structure-it is a place of safety, security and a feeling of belonging.
This Multi family property will be a place to call “home" for some of Greater Boston's homeless and high-risk youth that Bridge Over Troubled Waters serves.
For more than 50 years, Bridge, a Boston based non-profit, has provided a highly effective, innovative and customized continuum of care targeting runaway, homeless and high-risk youth between the ages of 14-24 in the Greater Boston area.
Bridge helps guide youth towards self-sufficiency and fundamentally changes the trajectory of their lives.
The dedicated team at Bridge have a singular focus: to help youth move their lives from troubled to transformed.
I have witnessed lives transformed, as a long term member of the Board of Directors of Bridge Over Troubled Waters.
Serving more than 2000 youth annually, Bridge never gives up on a youth. Bridge provides critical essential needs: street outreach, medical mobile van, food, emergency residence, combined with social services, counseling, life skills, education, job counseling, transitional living programs and beyond.
For each of us,”home” has a special meaning. For these vulnerable youth, Bridge is a life line empowering them with the skills, tools and support to find their way “home".
I am honored to be a very small part of their journey.
