You reallllllyyy want to sell for the highest amount possible, therefore you should price your home at a high number right? Wrong. Not saying your house won’t sell, I’m saying it won’t get you the results you’re looking for.

Homes priced lower and appear to be a “deal” get buyers through the door, create multiple offer situations and statistically give you the highest chance to sell for that aspirational number you’re seeking.

On average (historically) you’ll spend 5-7 years in your first home. Potentially a little longer nowadays. But it definitely won’t be your dream home. Your first home will be used as a building block for the future so that when you are ready to upgrade you’ve built up a solid amount of equity and your real dream home will be that much more attainable!
