Newton shaped me.
Not just as a Realtor, but as a neighbor and someone who once had to make the leap of relocating here myself.
This place has a way of getting into your DNA. It’s historic, beautiful, challenging and it changes the way you see home.
But if you’re moving here, there are a few things you’ll want to know first:
1. You’ll see all four seasons. Winter is a reality here - Snow, ice, and short days become part of life. But then spring wakes the city back up. All turns into a postcard. And Cape Cod summers remind you why New England is worth it.
2. Schools are a major draw. Education is one of Massachusetts’ biggest strengths. And it’s often a deciding factor in where people choose to live.
3. Community is a lifestyle choice. And traffic is ... character building the T has quirks, but it connects you. Choosing your town is often about balancing commute with lifestyle.
4. Community is everywhere. It’s not just the suburbs. - It’s the local coffee shop where they know your order, the Saturday farmer’s market and the small businesses lining America’s Main street here. Community is something you can truly tap into.
5. Range of lifestyles you can choose from is incredible. Brownstone, historic suburbs, quiet nature and surroundings - all within an hour or less. Massachusetts lets you live very differently. And live without ever leaving the state
And at the end of the day, moving here isn’t just about changing your address…
It’s about stepping into a way of life that challenges and rewards you and reminds you why you came in the first place.
That’s why I created a relocation guide. To help you picture what life in Greater Boston could look like.
Comment RELOCATION and I’ll send it your way.
